We are currently recruiting for a Seasonal Room Attendant at St Pierre Park Hotel Spa and Golf Resort, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
This seasonal role is available for an immediate start up until the end of March. Due to the timeline with this seasonal role, we will only consider candidates who have current right to work status for the UK.
 
St Pierre Park Hotel Spa and Golf Resort is a 131 Bedroom, 4 Star luxury hotel located close to St Peters Port on the beautiful island of Guernsey and is renowned for being the largest hotel on the island, and one of the best for a romantic get a way. 
Dine on the Terrace overlooking the lake, experience a luxurious spa treatment or play one of only three golf courses on the island, this is the perfect base to explore the wonderful island of Guernsey.

About the Role

  • The role of a Room Attendant will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms are clean and maintained to a very high standard creating a magical first impression.
  • You will play a key role in creating a home from home experience making sure each room is replenished with a fresh supply of towels and toiletries. Attention to detail is key – you will have an eye for perfection in making sure the public areas as well as the rooms are immaculate.
  • We are very proud of the brands we work with and want to ensure each guest can experience these luxuries. This will involve setting up the tea, coffee and biscuit station in the rooms and delivering personalised amenities. (even for our four-legged, furry guests!)
  • You will be an expert in your field with the ability to self-check the rooms and support colleagues where needed.
  • Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About you:
  • To be considered for the role, you will have some housekeeping or cleaning experience and feel comfortable working both alone and as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy environment.

  • You will be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.

  • It essential you can demonstrate how you would be able to deliver our guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, which includes the ability to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a high-quality, personalised, and magical experience that they remember, recommend, and return to time and time again.
  • Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.

Company Benefits

  • A competitive salary package of £13.82 per hour, plus a share of service charge.
  • Live in Accommodation inclusive of all meals and bills, at a charge of £95 per week.
  • This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, which may vary depending on business needs.
  • Pro rata equivalent of 29 holidays per annum.
